The Alpine Rally will be based in East Gippsland with Rally HQ at Forestech over the weekend of 25, 26 and 27 of November 2011.
A high speed car rally conducted over closed forestry roads, the event will use adjacent state forest roads between Lakes Entrance and Cann River with the permission of DSE.
Roads are closed to public use and the public are advised not to visit forests on these dates. A full list of all road closures will appear in The News on Wednesday 23/11/2011. Advance warning signs have been placed throughout the forest areas to be used.
